R. M. Stoudt, Inc. was founded by R. M. Stoudt Sr. in 1941 which makes 2021 is our 80th year in the area!

Mr. Stoudt had worked for Ford Motor Company through the 1930's traveling by train to dealerships throughout North Dakota and Montana. Mr. Stoudt was the national winner of the Benjamin Franklin Quality Award, awarded by the Saturday Evening Post (the precursor to the Time Quality Dealer of the Year Award) and was deeply involved with Ford Dealer Council, the National Automobile Dealers Association and the Jamestown community

 He was joined by his son Dick Stoudt Jr., who operated the business until 1986. Dick was very active as a teacher at the University of Jamestown and the leader of many community groups. Dick served as the Chair of the Greater North Dakota Association and Vice Chair of the Ford National Dealer Council. He was a devoted DeMolay advisor and was the Jaycee's Outstanding Young Businessman in North Dakota.

           Casey Stoudt purchased the dealership in 1986. Both Dick and Casey Stoudt have won the Time Quality Dealer Award for North Dakota. Casey has been and continues to be active in many local organizations, serving as Chair of the Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of Grace Episcopal Church and member of the Anne Carlsen Board of Directors, just to name a few.

           R. M. Stoudt, Inc. employees are deeply committed to and involved with community activities. We are particularly proud of our Running of the Pink annual run, which in 13 years has raised over $165,000 for Women's Cancer causes and is held on the first Saturday in June each year. 

           Casey's sons Casey J. and Kelly are involved with dealership operations in Finance & Insurance and Used Car management.
